Ahoy me maties, and shiver me timbers!!!





Some guy with a ghost mask jumped out of the bushes and scared the bu-gee-gees out of us!!! We went to this one house that had set up a roulette table. You were supposed to put a piece of your candy on the numbers and then you would win more candy right? WRONG!!! That dude rolled the rolled the wrong number and then he took our candy away. Can you believe that? We actually walked away from a house with LESS candy than when we walked up to it!!! Other than that it was a pretty cool night.

Hi everyone!!!

Hi you guys. We've been super busy and it's been a long time since we updated you on what we've been up to so we wanted to share some pictures and video with you. First I wanted to update you on school. I LOVE IT!!!!
It's been so fun and I'm making new friends all the time.

Here's me and my buddy Nicholas goofing around at the cafeteria!

That was a special day. We went on a field trip to pick out pumpkins!

I was also the "Star Person" for the week! That means that I got to be in the front of the line wherever we went! I had a really good time being the star person!

We also got to go on a hayride! It was lots of fun! Then I found the perfect pumpkin! Do you like it?!?

Malachi got to come with me because it was a special field trip day. He freaked out Daddy though. He got on the hayride with a bunch of kids from another school when Daddy wasn't looking. Daddy kept calling out, "MALACHI!!!" Then when we looked everywhere and couldn't find him, Daddy full on FREAKED OUT!!!
Daddy was about to call in the authorities when the hayride came back around and there was Malachi, happy as could be, sitting right on the back of the hayride. BUSTED!!!

After the field trip we went back to the school and learned some new stuff for a while. My daddy video taped us singing the months of the year in Spanish! Click on the video to hear us sing!!!

After a long week at school we needed some time off. So we went to the Boardwalk at Santa Cruz!!!

This was the only roller coaster that we could all go on together. Malachi and me can't ride all the rides yet. We're too short. But this one was pretty fun!

This ride was pretty fun too! We had a control stick that we could pull on and it would make this plane go SO HIGH in the air!

This ride jerked us up and down so fast! Malachi got freaked out, but me and dad were laughing our booties off!!!

After we rode the rides for a while we went down to the beach. There were seagulls and pelicans and jellyfish, and we even saw a few sea lions!!! But there was one thing we liked the best! We would run up to the edge of the water and wait for a wave to come crashing down then we would run as fast as we could to get away from the water. It didn't always work. Malachi kept falling into the ocean!!! I fell down a few times too. We got so cold and wet! But it was so fun!!!

We always have a great time hanging out and loving on each other!

We decided to wait until the sun set before we went home. It was really pretty.

We had a great weekend!

first day of school!

Check out my new threads! I got some new clothes so that I would look extra cool for when I start school! Today is the first day of Kindergarten! I've been waiting for this day for SO LONG! For the last couple of weeks I would tell my Mom and Dad that I wish summer was over so I could start school!

Wel, I've gotta run. School starts in a few minutes so I better get going. I've got to walk to school now. My school is pretty close. I think I can walk on my own. But Mom says no way until I'm a lot older. It's fun to walk with my Mom and Dad, so I guess that's OK.

Raceday!!!

We got to go to the races today! We were so excited ever since we watched that movie Cars! We got to see some real race cars up close. Our Daddy has a cousin that works on the race cars and he got us into the race and right down to pit row! Here is his car. They just lifted the body right off of the motor!

Pit row is right next to the drag strip so we could look through the fence to see the different cars and motorcycles racing. By the way, this picture is brought to you by Coca-Cola.

It was so loud we couldn't even believe it! You could feel your lungs shaking! We had these nifty little earplugs to keep our ears safe. They felt kind of weird though, we didn't like them.

While they were working on the car to get it ready we watched the pro stock motorcycle races. They said that the weather was perfect for racing and they broke a few records today! You can click on the video to see how fast they were going!

After the motorcycle races they put the car together and headed for the track. They took third place and they went over 250 miles an hour! It was SO COOL!

FUN at Papa and Grannys!

Hi guys, it's me Obadiah. My daddy took me and my little brother Malachi over to visit our Papa and Granny! We were so excited when we got there and Granny told us that she had Blackberries in her back yard! Daddy thought she was talking about a cell phone, what a silly goose!

Papa showed us how to reach way in the back to get the really good ones. They were so sweet.

You gotta make sure you get the black ones, NOT the green ones. Look at Malachi's face... see what I mean? He kept eating the green ones!

Here we are. we just sat there for a while and watched the birds fly by. We had a great time hanging out with Papa and Granny!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone!!! Easter is almost as good as Christmas! We get up early and get to open presents!!!

I love opening presents! I'm pretty sure I've already destroyed everything that came in this bucket. These plastic toys they're making these days sure are chinsy!

My big brother Obadiah got some foam missiles in his basket. I'm not sure what the significance of foam missiles is in relation to the resurrection of our Savior? Other than maybe that Obadiah was trying to crucify me with them. Those things hurt!

Another thing that is awesome about Easter is that you eat candy from the moment you get up until you quietly pass into a sugar coma! This is me eating the first of many "sacrificial peeps".

Easter is a LONG DAY!!! You need all the sugar to give you energy to make it through!!!

What do you do when you're feeling down because it has rained enough to break 100 year old records???

You go for a walk in the park with Grandpa!!! Of course!!! But what if it's raining, won't you get wet???

WHO CARES!!!

it's beginning to look like spring!!!

Mommy and Daddy took us to the park today! It is so nice outside. Today is only the second or third day that it hasn't been too cold or too rainy to go outside. We met up with a bunch of our friends at the park. We played on the playground for a long time. We had to go because it was lunch time and also Malachi loaded his diaper... so that's pleasant...

uh-oh...

Hey guys, it's me Obadiah. See that door right there? My little brother Malachi just locked himself in there. I was playing in the toy room and Daddy was working on his computer when we heard Malachi crying. There's a little space at the top of the door, so that's how we heard him. We thought we should climb up on the chair and take a look and see what was going on.

I guess he got on the other side of the door and turned the lock so that he couldn't get out. He was pretty upset about it. We kept telling him to turn the little thingy to unlock the door but he couldn't figure it out.










Daddy tried to take the door knob apart with a screw driver but he's never been really good with mechanical stuff so we had to move to "plan B"! Plan B was Dad's idea and I can't say that I was really thrilled with it. His idea was to put me in that tiny little space above the door and see if I could point to the little lock thingy so that Malachi could unlock the door. I tried but Malachi just wasn't getting it. It was pretty scary up there and my leg started falling asleep so I had Daddy get me down quick!!!

OK, now it was time for "plan C". Daddy climbed up the chair and squeezed himself through the little space at the top and hung over the edge to try to help Malachi unlock the door. He couldn't get Malachi to do it, so he hung WAY over the edge and stretched and stretched until he could reach the door knob and unlock it himself. It kind of hurts hanging on the edge like that. Daddy said, "Oh man, that's gonna leave a mark!" He looked pretty silly hanging upside down like that so I took a picture of him! Anyway, we got Malachi out and we're pretty sure he won't be turning the lock on the door any time soon!

its' potty time!!!!

I'm getting so big I can't believe it! I've only been two for about a month and already I'm figuring out the whole potty chair deal. I've got pull ups, and big boy underwear that I wear now instead of diapers. I guess it's pretty cool. I like watching mommy and daddy freak out after I go potty. They're so happy you'd think I just cured cancer, or won the nobel peace prize, or something. They totally lose it! I get it you guys, you're trying to be supportive. That's cool I guess.

Gotta run... I'm feeling a little tingly tingly in my junk...

OH YEAH!!! It's me, Obadiah, and that's a picture of my first massage! I was visiting my buddy Zachariah and we went to Starbucks to get a Hot Chocolate and this girl had a massage chair set up and was offering a free rub down!

It felt SO GOOD!!! I was so relaxed that I think I drooled a little bit on her chair. Oops... my bad.

Hi guys, it's me Obadiah! Here are the costumes that me, Malachi, and Mommy wore for Halloween. I'm batman, Malachi is a fireman, and Mommy is a butterfly, she's so pretty but her wings kept poking our eyes out. Daddy said he was dressed up like a jogger, but all he did was put on his sweatpants and running shoes. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen Daddy run though.

Here we are at the pumpkin patch in front of the haunted house. It looked pretty scary so Malachi and Mommy stayed out front so Daddy and I could go in. I'm a pretty big boy so it didn't scare me at all. We had lots of fun at the pumpkin patch!

We went to the Harvest Party at church and then went trick or treating! It was cold and dark, but who cares? WE WERE GETTING FREE CANDY!!!!! It was so much fun. I think I really like this holiday. We were all smiles for this picture, but we ate so much candy that a little bit later I almost barfed! Good times.

Happy Birthday to me!!!!

It's my birthday party! I can't believe I'm two years old already!!! We had my birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time and the whole family came out to have fun with us!

Mommy helped me open up all of my presents. I got some really cool stuff!!!

This may have been my favorite moment of the day! Usually Mommy runs a pretty tight ship when it comes to sugar intake, but today... she said, "go for it Malachi!!!" I'm still coming off of my sugar high!

The next day I tried on one of my gifts. My big brother Obadiah gave me some big boy underwear. I'm not quite sure how they work yet. I'll figure it out.
